JCS Sports Curriculum for Girls, 2nd semester

6th class: Topics covered: Topics covered: Following the Stage 3 NSW Curriculum outcomes, We concentrated on hand-eye coordination skills, with fielding drills in summer sports (Softball), batting techniques and some pitching techniques. In Winter sports we have worked on Football skills concentrating on passing, Dribbling and shooting .In Athletics we have worked on Sprinting in track events and discus and shot put in field events. The  key focus for learning has been non-locomotor, locomotor and manipulative skills and games to advance the pupils in such areas as running, stretching, and throwing, catching, hitting and spatial awareness

Upper 1st: Topics covered: Following the Stage 1 NSW Curriculum outcomes,  we  have concentrated on hand-eye coordination skills in different Ball game situations, such as Football in winter terms, along with some Athletic skills in such events as track which include running. The key focus for learning has been non-locomotor, locomotor and manipulative skills and games  to advance the pupils in such areas as running, stretching, and throwing, catching, hitting and spatial awareness.

Lower 1st: Topics covered: Following the Stage 1 NSW Curriculum outcomes, we have concentrated on hand-eye coordination skills in different Ball game situations. We have also worked on running and sprinting in track events for Athletics. The key focus for learning has been non-locomotor, locomotor and manipulative skills and games  to advance the pupils in such areas as running, stretching, and throwing, catching, hitting and spatial awareness.
